What are they trying to do?
In outsized whiplash and wide ranges, you can’t rely on close-expiration flow. You have to find the signal of when they bounce, where are they putting the money?
🔍 The Only Question: “What are they trying to do?” When the range gets wide, the only question that matters is identifying the Price Action objective; within that, you can dissect more likely flow. Based on the chart and the flow, “they” are almost always trying to do one of these five things:
Complete an open backtest
Fill a gap
Test a monthly level
Test a high
Test a low
