🌆Pt. 1: WELCOME TO RAPTURE

Welcome to Rapture, a city built on the top of a market heater where your wildest dreams can come true…unless you follow pure Price Action, in which case some of those dreams may have become nightmares.
Luckily for us, there was a bit of learning in the wild way this week went (say that 10 times fast)— it showed us the importance of confirmation candles in our Price Action.
One way to look at just how wonky the current PA we are in to look at how we’re behaving along this long hourly trend line. Notice that after setting the trend and losing it, SPY refuses to flat out reject the trend line and instead keeps beating its head against it.
So, if we are reclaiming levels and trends with zero need to test down below, then we have a city that’s built on as shaky of a foundation as Lizzo on a unicycle. The last time I remember us being so clearly set up for a backtest is probably around the last time Biden could remember what he had for dinner.
But the key is going to be to WAIT for confirmation, a hard lesson we’ve had to learn here because calling tops successfully is about as likely as Bieber winning a game of Hide and Seek against Diddy back in the day.
