Normally I use lots of flowery language and metaphor but I’m in the mood for plainspeak and it’s a plainspeak kind of moment.

There were a few things happening in succession that made me think I’d close up shop, but I recently realized that’s all the more reason to keep going with my surprisingly successful little Covid hobby.

First of all, since my ex a few years ago made my struggles with addiction pretty uh….well known…I have no problem with saying that had been going really well for a bit over a year. Some life happened, I folded a little, but got back on the horse early this year. That issue is under control and I have a really big and (sometimes overly) involved support network that makes sure it stays that way. I’m a happy healthy sober boy for most of the past couple years :)

Things get dark out when the subs don’t come in and you gotta get what you need.

As I hit the spring full of hope and withdrawal, my maternal grandmother who helped raise me when my father couldn’t passed away. It’s really just my mom and I as far as family, so that was rough. Now into the heart of the matter and why I had prepared a “YEET is closing shop” article "(with no memes)…

😱 AFRAID

My mother was unfortunately the week after that funeral diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer that has metastasized. If you havent been involved in that sort of process, you are essentially waiting for a series of procedures letting you know whether or not it’s spread. How quickly varies, but that occurrence is pretty much checkmate—and at first it seemed we were going to be checked pretty hard indeed. The worst case was simply a case I’m not ready for—everyone has to go at some point, this I know, but it does not mean I am any more ready for that.

Well, good news! It looks as though the illness is local and though it won’t be a barrel of fun, but I’ll be with her every step of the way and that’s a gift, it’s just wrapped in ugly paper.

🤗 So that leads me to you all…

When I thought it would be a sad play-out-the-rest-of-her-days year so ahead, I was going to finally say goodbye to the YEET. But now I sit here left with a schedule that’s been made more clear and a hobby I love…but have grown to sometimes hate because It’s now a business and I am no sort of businessman. If I know nothing else I know this—this thing has to feel fun again.

✅ So I have the time

✅ I have the love of the game

✅ I don’t have patience for the grind of advertising, the pressure having a (super cheap) price puts on the free plays I do.

✅ I have enough cash from trading I don’t need the business, but the free labor would be far too much to do without resentment.

✅ I love taking my time and putting out best trades available in a slow drip

❌BUT People hate that shit—subs largely want more and more opportunities, more trades, more flows, even if it increases risk proportionally

THE ANSWER: JUST DO GOOD WORK THAT MAKES YOU MONEY AND MAKES ME GIGGLE

SPY/INDEX trading—it is a fundamental right of retail traders in my opinion to be able to navigate the markets on a daily basis. When I put out levels, analysis, trades, etc, all that stuff will be free.

😕STARTING SUNDAY WE ARE CLOSING SIGN UPS FOR PLUS FOR A WHILE SO I DONT HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT IMAGE: I want to be a man of the people and spend time figuring out what people want out of plus, and that will be hard to do if I’m constantly trying to bend to a new audience based on a new type of win they see that drives them in. We in the lab this summer, I’ll probably re-open plus to sign ups after a month or two.

It’s a cheap service that offers a lot—even when I was gone, garden members for ten bucks a month had access to every filter I’ve ever made, and a direct feed for five of those filters with automatic discord alerts. For 10 bucks a month, I think that’s plenty value and I looked around the market—there aren’t many people producing that type of IP to distribute, and if they are they charging ya a lot more.

It’s kind of hard to put the general feel into a list so, TLDR: I am going to get back to doing this for me and having fun with it, calling bangers, and letting this be a hobby first and foremost. If you want flows, join plus.

It’s not going to be so focused on “this is the structure of the YEET” because that was killing me—it will be whatever seems important at the time, flow ideas with plus and index stuff free. Get used to me using the NOTES section in stack.

NBIS is a banger in waiting; with NFLX dropping, we may get accelerated to the goal it’s had for a minute now—the closure of the gap at 160 (in Gold).

Once that gap is closed we have whale support with consistent buys way out the money, including some leaps. If you are patient enough to wait for the gap and it gets a convincing 2 hour close above the gap entry (the top gold line) to signify a rebound, you could go with an August or September call a bit out the money and sell at the targets we set upon entry.

PS here’s the super easy way to know SPY was going to fall off a cliff today as a bonus—much simpler than what’s above.
