One gap closed, one did not.
The gap from the May 7th high closed overnight — price came back up and filled it cleanly. But the gap below at 733.07 to 731.58 is still sitting there untouched. That is the magnet. Until that fills the tape has unfinished business underneath.
Going into the close yesterday and starting today, there are still a lot of puts open to the downside — particularly the 735p cluster. We started lower this morning which was the setup those prints were calling for. The open gap below is the thesis. 733.07 is the first target on any continuation lower. If that fills and holds, the bounce is the play.
