đȘ SPY Magic: The Ladder Snaps
Status: Caution / Tread Carefully
In the morning session, we saw a classic upside call ladder forming. However, the data shows that ladder has officially broken. As you can see in the charts, the flow didnât just stop; it flipped into a downside put stack.
Translation: After the surge, the whales are expressing caution. They arenât looking for immediate continuation; theyâre bracing for chop. If bearishness confirms elsewhere, this is the first sign of a reversal.
đŠ SPY Unicorn: The Sound of Silence
Status: Showing Caution
Unicorn was our primary bullish engine during the surge, but the signal is shifting. Itâs not just about the puts coming inâitâs the slowing down of orders. Whales are no longer aggressive with bullish continuation. When the big money stops hammering the âbuyâ button, you stay alert.
đ SPY Ballistic: Heavy Bearish Lean
Status: Heavy Caution
The whales are simply not convinced today. Notice the spike in this filterâwhich, to be fair, usually leans bearishâbut we are seeing whales go heavy into the downside. When Ballistic lights up like this, it means the heavy hitters are positioned for a drop.
The Bottom Line
We are officially in Caution Territory. At this stage, green is not to be trusted. We arenât quite ready to say weâve fully âflippedâ the script back to a macro downtrend, but we are standing right on the edge of the cliff.
